A Utah woman has committed suicide after telling 911 that she wanted to donate her organs.

The 57-year-old shot herself outside a hospital while still on the phone to emergency dispatchers.

Officers said that the woman called police at 11:39am yesterday claiming that she was in the parking lot near the entrance to the Dixie Regional Medical Center in St George and wanted to donate her organs.
